Rate Policy
- All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and based upon single or double occupancy. - Additional adults, add $20/night, per person; children (12 and under), add $15/per night, per person; $20/night, per pet. - All rates are subject to a 15% tax (5% GST, 8% PST and 2% AHRT) - Our office is no contact - guests will receive text directions to the cottage between 2 and 5pm on arrival date. - No refunds will be issued for unused days or early departures. - Date changes are possible, subject to availability. Date changes are subject to a $50 administration fee and 30 days notice prior to the arrival date. - Minimum stays vary throughout the year.
Cancellation Policy for Direct Bookings.
- One month advance notice of cancellation is required for a full deposit refund, less a $50 administration fee. - Cancellation with less than one months notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit. We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
Cleaning/damage Policy:
* Note that there is no smoking in any Reef Point Cottage. * As all units are supplied with a dishwasher, it is expected that guests clean their cooking/eating utensils. Washing dishes is a guest responsibility. * Any damage caused to the unit or grounds by the guest, will be charged to the guests credit card. *Towel changes are available by request.
Pet Policy:
We recognize that many people travel with their pets but we also recognize that people have pet allergies. Therefore we have certain units that are pet friendly and others where pets are not permitted. Reef Point Cottages reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any pet, for any reason, at it sole discretion. Should permission for a pet stay be granted, the following conditions must be met: - The pet must not be left unattended within the cottage or anywhere on resort property. - The pet’s behavior must not be allowed to impact the quiet enjoyment of the resort by other guests. - Pets must be on a leash at all times while on resort property. - Pets are not permitted on the furniture. - We provide doggy poop bags, please “scoop up” after your dog. Please do not rinse off sandy pets in the bathtubs. The sand clogs the drains. - The owner assumes full responsibility for any damage caused, or excessive cleaning, for - whatever reason, as a result of the pet staying at the resort. - An additional charge of $20/night per pet will apply.
