Wildlife
Visitors to Ucluelet can take in some spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities. Guests of Reef Point Cottages can take a wilderness tour to view Black Bears, Cougars, and the rare and endangered Vancouver Island Marmot. Hiking
Ucluelet features some of BC’s most breathtaking hiking trails. The Wild Pacific Trail is a world class walking/hiking trail following the headlands of Ucluelet with the goal of someday being extended all the way to the Pacific Rim National Park.

Ucluelet offers prime access to the Broken Island Group, a National Park containing over 100 islands and islets which is world famous for its kayaking. Take your own kayak out or go on one of the many fully guided trips available.
Fishing
The coastline between Ucluelet and Tofino is a feeding and spawning destination for some of the largest runs of Chinook and Coho salmon on the entire Pacific Coast of North America, making it a hugely successful salmon fishing area and a great place for fishing charters.

Ukee Days only happens once a year. It’s Ucluelet’s largest community festival and features rides for the kids and a tonne of other activities. Ucluelet will come alive this July. Come on down from the 22nd to the 24th and enjoy all the fun!
